The top 20 Go-Ahead London drivers, representing all 13 locations, went to Millbrook Vehicle Testing Ground on Tuesday 27 October to contest the 500 Challenge and reveal the winner of a brand new Fiat 500.

The day began with a series of driving challenges which would test all their professional skills. These included eco driving over Millbrook’s entire test circuits and the logging of the results to determine the true 500 Challenge Champion.

After a practise run in the morning the atmosphere in the camp was noticeably tenser as the competition got serious for the afternoon run when the scores would determine the winner.

At the end of the day’s activities the winner was announced and John Trayner, Managing Director, was delighted to hand the keys of the Fiat 500 to Tariq Mahmood from Docklands Buses who was revealed as a true champion!
